The perspective of God needs to be brought into the conversation of politics and on the news. We are inundated with the views of the left and the views of the right, but what about the views of God, which is the only perspective that truly matters?
We all have the tendency to look outside of ourselves for answers. When we want to know the truth about something we research it on the internet, we pull articles that are in agreement with our beliefs, we look to the news, our neighbors, our friends and family, yet, the only truth we will ever need to know comes from going within, as Jesus taught us. If you want to know the truth about something, whether it be something someone else said, an article, a news program, or anything else, read it, listen to it, then go within and ask for the real truth. This is the only way we can set ourselves free.
The true Progressive Movement consists of individuals who think, speak, and act with the intention of moving the soul forward in its evolution towards oneness with its creator. This is the only way in which we can truly change ourselves and our world for the better.
As children of God, we all have an innate desire to alleviate suffering. On a deeper level, we all know that we are brothers and sisters and so when we see someone in pain, crying, sad or depressed we seek to comfort. We seek to give them relief from their troubles, yet as followers of Christ we must now bring this desire higher and begin to assist our brothers and sisters in transcending suffering. If we offer to merely alleviate their suffering then we have not done them nor God justice. How do we assist them in transcending their suffering? We explain to them who they truly are in a way in which they are ready to hear it. Not every one is at the same level of awareness so it is your job to assess where they are and then teach them from there. When you assist your brothers and sisters in knowing who they truly are you have given them the only knowledge that is necessary to permanently end their suffering. You have set them on the true path of healing.
There is too much hate and anger in the world today. Brother against brother. Sister against sister. We have lost our way and have given in to our emotions. We are overly sensitive. We are believing that we can be hurt by what others say or do, yet it is our ignorance of who we truly are that keeps us tied to this perverted belief. No one can hurt us by word or deed. We are invulnerable to attack when we practice defenselessness. When we are defensive we are attacked. When you read, hear or see something that disturbs your core take a deep breath and turn to your God for the truth. Practice non-reaction. When you refrain from reacting you put yourself in a position to forgive. From this state you will find freedom.
Many Christians around the world are witnessing the demise of the Christian Churches. The Catholic Church, in particular, is being singled out, but I dare say that some of these atrocities, if not all, are happening within other denominations as well.
Large numbers of us have left the church and worship in our homes on our own time while others have remained faithful to the church through these ordeals. Many of us are feeling angry, hopeless, helpless, discouraged, fearful and outraged.
What should we do? Prayer is always of paramount importance. Up until now, our prayers have actually been responsible for the upheaval that we are witnessing take place within the church. We have all known on some level that there was something amiss in our churches.
The hatred for the church runs so deep in some individuals that they strongly desire the collapse of the entire church, yet I do not believe this is what Jesus wants. Plenty of his followers still cling to the church even though they know it is in a shambles. If the church were to completely collapse Jesus knows his followers would fall into hopelessness, they would be scattered and that is not what he wants. The better solution is to rid the church of its “evils,” which is happening now, and have the people elect leaders who are more in tuned with his true teachings. In other words, give the church over to the congregation/parishioners (not boards, committees and the like) so they can elect the leaders and clergy with whom they believe Jesus can speak through to bring his modern day message to the masses.
How can we begin the enormous task of changing the church? Through the help of Jesus, of course. Jesus calls upon those who have chosen to stay with the church (and even those who have left) to call on him to inspire you to take action; action that will lead to a new church; a church that is the Living Word of Christ. A church that is constantly moving and growing in God.
Jesus says there are many of you who still believe in the true purpose and importance of the church, yet you know things need to change but do not know what to do, how to do it and where to begin. He says to call on him. Ask him. Open your heart and he will lead you.
Will it be easy? Jesus says no. It will indeed be a challenge that will shake you now and again. At times, it will be akin to what he faced while taking on the Scribes and Pharisees. Yet, he says, no matter what befalls you, you must always speak the truth that he gives you in order to begin the process of mending the church. Have no fear, for when you are anointed by Jesus you are safe.
It is up to us as Christians to rehabilitate the church and bring it back into alignment with the true teachings of Jesus.
If you are inspired by this article then consider yourself one of his anointed ones, chosen to assist him in healing the church from within. Your journey is blessed.

The majority of God's people have been so caught up in complaining, and arguing their point of view that they have been cleverly distracted from God's work. There is less light being poured into this world when we are pulled into chaos. Deliberate? We must get back on track swiftly.
The human self will mimic God at every turn seducing us into believing that what we are thinking is in line with our Creator. Its sole desire is to live yet in order for us to enter the Kingdom of Heaven it must die. It does not want to die so it will coerce us into believing it is God. Be aware of this subtle way in which the human self tries to trick us into believing we have achieved oneness.
Prayers are beams of light that flood forth into the heart of our Creator. The stronger the will of the prayerful the more powerful the beam of light, thus the more effective the answer. When many pray in unison the beam of light is magnified; the results are bountiful. Many have prayed for the salvation of our brothers and sisters, our world and ourselves. Our Creator has heard our cries. Our Creator is answering as we live and breathe. Be aware of the shift that is taking place before your eyes. We are rising upward into the Light of God. Are you ready?
God is in the present. He is not in the past where our minds often stray. He is not in the future wishing for things that have not yet come. God is in the present, basking in the moment, living in the now for the past is gone and the future has not yet come and thus the most important moment is the now, where life is to be lived. God is in the present. Where are you?
The greatest gift one could ever receive is the gift of Oneness with God. To be one with God is to be whole. To be one with God is to attain divine power, divine wisdom, divine love, divine purity, divine truth and vision, divine peace and divine freedom. Your divinity awaits you.
God has many laws. One of them being Ask and it is Given. Are we utilizing this most sacred and profound law in our lives? Are we asking for what our heart desires and receiving it? Are we asking for our finances to be increased and receiving it? Are we asking for a new love relationship and receiving it? Are we asking for better health and well-being and receiving it? If we are not receiving then we are only utilizing one half of God's law. Receiving is one of the most difficult things for us to do. It is easy to ask. We ask all day, but for the most part we fail to receive. Why is this? Because for some reason we are not believing in what we ask for. We are not believing we deserve what we are asking for. We are not believing it is possible to receive what we desire. We do God no good when we do not receive what we desire. If you are not receiving what you desire I am here to tell you that it is absolutely possible to receive all that you ask for no matter what it is and that you are undeniably worthy of all that you ask for. Why are you worthy? You are worthy of receiving all that you ask for because you are an extension, a child, an expression of God and God is worthy. Realize in this moment that you are worthy of all that you desire and set yourself free.
It is God's good pleasure to give us the abundant life, yet, so many of us struggle to make ends meet. We struggle to provide for our families. We struggle in our relationships, we struggle with our health. Why is this? We say, "If it is God's good pleasure to give me the abundant life then why am I barely making ends meet, why am I sick?" God says to us, "It is my pleasure to give you the abundant life but I cannot give you what you are holding yourself back from receiving. The abundance you desire in every area of your life is there. It is flowing to you, yet, you block it from manifesting into your physical experience because you are denying it. How are you denying it? You deny it with the thought of doubt, the thought of fear, the belief that you do not have what you desire. You deny my abundance when you refuse to use the gift I have given you to lift yourself out of the state of consciousness that is called death instead of seeking the kingdom of heaven within you which is the consciousness of life. The gift I have given you is the Christ mind. This mind knows all, sees all, hears all, is all. Connect with the Christ within you, the God within you, and you will begin to breakdown the death consciousness, and as you do this the abundant life will be revealed to you."
What does it mean to be reborn? It means to realize, to remember, once again who you truly are. To remember that it is God's good pleasure to give you the abundant life and therefore you now open the flood gates and allow yourself to receive it; to remember that you are not the fears that you hold on to but are the Spirit that rises above these fears and remembers that you are more than the fears you have created, thus, you let them go and begin to live in fearlessness; to remember that you are commanded to have dominion over the earth and, thus, you let go of all that is unlike God that is stopping you from fulfilling this commandment and now you know that you can truly be, do, and have whatever it is you desire. To be reborn is to remember that nothing can hurt you because everything on this earth is unreal and cannot hurt that which is real; You are real. Be reborn today by letting go of all that is unlike God in your being. Set yourself free.
Forgiveness is one of the toughest challenges we face yet it is the key to receiving the abundant life we all desire and are commanded to live. If we do not forgive ourselves and others for past mistakes then we, unwittingly, bring the past into our present and future thus keeping ourselves and others where we are. It is an endless cycle of punishing ourselves and each other. How do we step off the wheel? We must forgive. How do we forgive? By allowing ourselves to let go of the past and realize that the past was just a misguided thought/action that took hold in us and one that we continued to think for a long period of time thereby making it truth in our lives and the catalyst for everything that happens to us in the future. God forgives the moment you realize this truth. Now, it is up to you to let go of the negativity surrounding the past mistake and begin to insist on focusing on the new. For ex., let's say you are not where you want to be financially. Let's say you continue to say/think things like, "I should have taken a different job. I shouldn't have invested in that. I should have finished high school. I should have finished or gone to college. I should have never...." I can go on and on. You fill in your own story. Realize now that these thoughts about yourself and what you should have done are what is holding you back from living an abundant life. The Creator must give you what you want whether you consciously or unconsciously want it. You tell your Creator "I want.. or I am.." through what you think about yourself and others and thus the Creator must make this a reality for you. So, if you keep thinking and regretting your choices in the past you will continue to receive the result of your choices in the past based on your belief. At some point, you must let these thoughts and images of yourself go and realize that you, and no one else, are holding you back from what you desire. You must take responsibility for what you have created in your life and then let it go by beginning to introduce new thoughts and images about yourself and others into your awareness. God is forgiving. We must forgive and when you finally have had enough and begin to forgive you will have literally set you and your brothers and sisters free.
We let the past go by thinking differently in the now. You are not bound to your past. Some of us feel that if we have done something that we deem as wrong that we can not change; that we are beholden to the past but this is untrue. There is only the now and in this very moment you have the power, given you by God, to change who you are; to be a different person. All you need do is to begin thinking differently; to begin imaging differently and in time your life will begin to outplay these new thoughts and images. How long does it take? It takes as long as it takes you to submit to the new and let go of the past. Simple as that.
There are those who will say that we have no right to interfere with what others are doing. There are those who will not get involved when they see something that is unpleasing and goes against what their heart tells them for fear of being told that they should mind their own business and let people do what they want. They will say that it is a person's free will to, for ex., treat a child or animal in a bad way, to do or say things that hurt others, themselves, the evironement. Well, I say that I may not have the right to interfere with the free will of others but I DO have the right, by the power given me by God, to purify God’s light. All children of God, all of God's creations, and that includes you, have the right to re-qualify God's light when you see it being mis-qualified by another no matter what form it takes or how big or small it appears. How do you know when someone is mis-qualifying God's light? First you must go within and find peace. You can not assess any situation without the peace, and word, of God flowing through you. When you have calmed down and have looked upon the situation from the point of view of God you will know if it is truly a mis-qualification of God's light. If you fail to see the love, peace, joy, happiness and harmony that God commands us to experience then you know that what is being outplayed before your eyes is impure. God calls upon you to purify it with his power flowing through you for that is your purpose; your purpose is to bring God's light into this world, into all inharmonious situations, so that he might bring all mis-qualified light into the pure light that I AM. All mis-qualified light on this planet must, and will, be brought back to the pure light of God and we are the ones that have the power given us by God to do it. We are the ones that will raise this planet up into the light of God's pure being and when we accomplish this we will all experience heaven on earth.
Remember all things in the material universe are illusion. This is very important. Nothing dies. Nothing leaves. All is light. All is love. All is God. This world holds no value. It is valueless. Practice this truth and you will set yourself free from all burdens you hold, for you will realize that they are meaningless.
Do not be afraid to ask and receive. Do not be afraid to be "wrong." If you are afraid to be wrong you will never learn. You will forever be stuck where you are and will never be satisfied nor will you learn the truth behind all that you see. Try and try again, and if you are "wrong" each time keep trying and know that in time you will know the truth. Ask no matter what.
As a society, we need to address bullying in a different light; in the Light of God. The bully bullies because he/she does not know who he/she truly is. The bullied is being bullied because he/she does not know who he/she truly is. Neither party understands the truth. The bully feels powerful because he strikes fear in others but the question begs to be asked: Why does the bully feel the need to bully? Does the bully have a hidden fear of being picked on thus he/she bullies before she/he is bullied by others? Maybe one of their parents or siblings is a bully and so they become the bully in order to unleash their frustration. Either way, the bully seeks fulfillment in the physical and because of this will never be happy. He/she will always be on the defensive ready to strike.
The bullied feels helpless because he/she is forever being picked on but the question begs to be asked: Why is the bullied being bullied in the first place? What are they afraid of? Are they being picked on at home, being put down or are they seeking attention? Where does their sense of self-worth lie? Either way, the bullied feels unworthy and seeks attention where it can never be truly fulfilled.
Neither the bully nor the bullied have any real power. They are both in the wrong because they seek where they will never find. We must begin to teach our children that their power lies within and not in being popular/unpopular in school nor in any achievement they might seek to gain in this world. For everything in this world is fleeting and will disappear and then what do they have to do, where will they go, who will they look to to fulfill their false desire?
True power lies in God; in knowing who you truly are. We give our children strength when we teach them about their Creator; when we teach them about how the great Masters dealt with similar situations. Yet how can we teach something we do not understand? We must learn in order to teach. We are responsible for our children and the best way to help our children cope in a sometimes hostile world is to teach them that they are powerful Spiritual Beings and then teach them that power through going within and connecting to their God.
