Life is Simple

Life is as simple as:

"Ask and you shall Receive."
"Knock and the door shall be Opened."

And yet we still insist on struggling. These above laws are simple yet so difficult to implement because we have learned that life is a struggle that life is unfair.

Let's begin to take the words of our Lord to heart and live simply and freely with joy in our hearts, love on our minds and peace within our Souls.

Untruth

A surefire way to know that you are thinking an untruth about a situation is when you are feeling fearful. If your thought is in any way fearful, hateful, depressing, doubtful, and all other negative thoughts in between, that is a sign, in that moment, that what you are thinking is not God's will for you. Fear is untruth. Joy is truth. God's will for you is happiness. God's will for you is wellness. God's will for you is prosperity. God's will for you is love. God's will for you is joy.

I Am Well Pleased

We all know that walking the path back to God can be challenging, to know within every cell of our mind and body who we truly are can be a daunting task as we uncover the truth layer by layer, but always remember to laugh and smile along the way. We are meant to live joyfully in God's creation. Do your best everyday to find something to appreciate about yourself and others. Keep in mind the end result of all your hard work of remembering the truth, and know that at the end of the path God awaits you with open arms eager to say to you, "This is my son/daughter, whom I love; with whom I am well pleased."

Be as a Child

There are approximately 24.1 million individuals in the United States of America who are experiencing complete and utter joy no matter what's going on around them. They are 0 - 5 years of age. As Christ said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." My interpretation of this saying is that when we become like children we will experience the joy we seek. Remind yourself of how you were as a child; you did not know what was going on in the world. All you cared about was eating, sleeping and, most importantly, having FUN! You were the one showing your parents, at the time, that whatever was going on in their lives, things were okay, that there was always room for joy. You were the light. Refrain from letting any condition get you down. You are worthy of joy, peace and love. It is all up to you.

Remember, happiness is just one thought away.

My Animals

Whenever I find myself focused on unpleasant thoughts I immediately turn to my animals. They are my savior. I watch them and smile. I adore their playfulness, their eagerness for the new toy and/or treat, their excitement for exploration, and I think to  myself,  "I want to have their zest for life." I then look for things to enjoy and my mind is free. I can't even remember what I was thinking of. Try it, and if you don't have animals there are plenty of videos on the internet. It will ease your mind.

Laughter is natural

It is natural for each and every one of us to experience laughter. I can not begin to describe to you how much good and fun exists in this world that awaits our recognition. Together, let's find things to smile and laugh about today and every day.

Be who you are

I see so many people posting and re-posting things on Facebook and Twitter that they DON'T like, along with following people they DON'T like so they can bash them. Why do they do this? Doing this only perpetuates what you do not want thereby bringing you things that you do not want thereby making you angry, sick, agitated, fearful etc. which ultimately leads you into a place that gets harder and harder to climb out of. Instead, let's follow people we DO like, let's post things we DO like, let's say things we can feel proud of and that make us smile and feel love. Let's hide the posts of our friends that post things we do not like. Let's be who we truly are and stop being who others want us to be. Let's begin to swing that pendulum back to the good things in life so that we can start living the good life. Enjoy your journey to wholeness.

Isn't it Wonderful?!

"Isn't it wonderful?! Something miraculous is happening to me right now!" Say this mini-prayer through your day and begin to be excited about what's to come. You don't need to know what you're excited about - the Universe, the God within, will figure that out for you. All you need to do is to feel the excitement, the anticipation, the joy, the smile, the beauty, the exhilaration of the wonderfulness that is about to enter your life. It feels good not to know, not to care but just to enjoy the moment and let it flow easily into your life.

Enjoy your journey to wholeness.

The Truth

If you tell yourself something often enough it becomes truth, so why not tell yourself something good? I think I'll tell myself that I AM AMAZING!!!! Ha-ha! How about you? (No worries - self-love is encouraged here.) The truth is that you are whatever you tell yourself you are. If you repeatedly think - which is a way of telling - you are too fat, too skinny, too short, too tall, too .... and the list goes on, then you will be.

Instead, begin to repeatedly think and talk about yourself as genius, beautiful, wealthy, healthy, confident, tall enough, thin enough, lovely enough, a great cook, an excellent socializer, an awesome mentor, fantastic at your job, loved by all who surround you... and, again, the list goes on.

Be consistent in your efforts to become who you want to be and who you really are and you will naturally transform into that - you are all there is.

Enjoy your journey to wholeness.

Joy

Joy - such a simple word, yet, most of us have a hard time maintaining the feeling of joy on a consistent basis. I believe it's because we allow ourselves to depend upon our outside world, as well as other people, to make us happy - to do things that make us feel joyful, but as we all know, that is fleeting. Depending on others or our environment to make us feel joy does not last for long. Inevitably, we come across people that do things that we don't agree with or we go to places that aren't what we thought they would be or even check on the weather to see if it's sunny or not. If it's cloudy or rainy or cold or too hot we set ourselves up for failure in our experience of joy.Often, we are told, and it has become cliche, that happiness starts from within. I dislike things that become ordinary like this statement but I have found that it is true. When I set myself up for joy each morning and each night, I find that joy becomes my reality. And if I see something or come across someone in my travels that displeases me, I immediately walk away. I do not linger and discuss in my head all the things that are wrong about the situation. I move forward so as not to get stuck in a whirlwind of mis-truths that will inevitably lead me to a place that I do not want to be. The key is to first maintain joy by always seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, expecting and feeling joy from within, and if you come across something that displeases you in your outside reality walk away. As you practice this habit you will become more adept at it and joy will be your constant state of being. It is natural.

Master the gift of joy. It is the key to the fulfillment of our desires.
